Who Owns What (newspapers) is an analysis of the holdings of the twenty largest owners of newspapers in the United States. The daily and weekly papers owned by each company are represented by blue ellipses.  Each company is represented by a different shade of blue. The larger companies have a darker blue, while the smaller companies have a lighter blue.  Each ellipse is scaled according to the size of the paper's circulation that it represents and positioned based on geography.
